Effect of Plant-Products Fumigation on Air-Borne Microbes

Background and Objective: Purity of the ambient air is essential for our health well-being. One main factors influencing quality presence microbes. Fumigation herbs has been recommended in Unani medicine to purify air. Hence, present study was aimed evaluate effect selected fumigation on air-borne microbes.
 Methods: In this study, with Medicinal powder microbes assessed using differences total colony counts pre post samples. Microbial load quantified passive open-air petri plate method. Formalin potassium permanganate served as positive control, while tamarind wood charcoal negative control.
 Results: medicinal at a dose 45 grams found be most effective reducing microbial Significant reduction aerial colonies observed 30 gms fumigated areas (P<0.05).
 Conclusion: It can inferred from findings that test drugs efficiently reduces microbes, hence may recomanded disnfectant. However, various were not considered such temperature humidity disinfection efficiency fumigants should addressed further studies.
